Surviving a major trauma changes you.

For years, I lived with vivid, haunting memories that felt as real as the moment they happened. My journey to healing was long and painful, but it taught me something invaluable: freedom from trauma is possible, even when it feels out of reach.

Years ago, I was in a catastrophic car accident that turned my world upside down. I remember the rain-soaked concrete beneath me after being thrown from the car. Blood was everywhere. My body trembled as I lay there, helpless, waiting for the paramedics. They arrived quickly but didn’t know my knee was shattered—my right leg hung limp, like a rag doll’s.

When they lifted me to place me on the gurney, the pain became unimaginable. I later learned they had worsened the fracture in my patella. At the hospital, the doctor wasn’t optimistic; he doubted they could save my leg. After six grueling hours of surgery, my leg was miraculously spared, but the emotional scars were another matter.

For years, I carried those moments with me. I couldn’t escape the flashbacks or the way my body would tense and tremble at the smallest reminder. I thought I was broken—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. The PTSD lingered, wrapping itself around my daily life making me feel trapped in the worst moment of my life.

Then, I found hope. A hypnotherapist introduced me to a therapeutic process similar to EMDR, and for the first time, I felt a sense of relief. Through this process, I was able to confront my trauma in a way that didn’t overwhelm me. Slowly, the emotional charge tied to those painful memories began to fade. The images that had haunted me became distant, and the physical tension in my body started to release. I wasn’t just surviving anymore; I was healing.

Today, I can look back at my experience and see how far I’ve come. The weight of the past no longer defines me. If you’ve ever felt stuck in your pain, I want you to know that healing is possible. It might not be easy, but I can help you find freedom and reclaim your life with the right tools and support.
